Buy A Computer On Payments

Purchasing a vehicle with bad credit involves a lot of factors, which causes confusion to many people especially those who are not familiar with how the credit industry works. Such things as interest rates, monthly payments, loan terms and conditions, and many others can be daunting to deal with which is why it is best to know more about the process before signing on to anything.

One of the most prevalent misconceptions about auto loans is that down payments are always required. The big question is, why do people believe these myths at all? Here are the reasons why:

In the past, any financing arrangement obtained from a bank would require down payment as part of institution's policy. Presently though, this is no longer true especially with secondary or subprime lenders because these institutions generally work with people who are having trouble finding any kind of loan because of their credit. Online lenders are also much more accommodating as they cater mostly to bad credit individuals trying to get a new car or a home.

Is it better to buy a computer on a single payment or through multiple payments?
I am seriously thinking about getting a macbook pro, but I don’t quite have enough money for it yet. Should I save up the money needed or pay a monthly amount of $59. Which is better? I really have no patience right now because my laptop just broke down, and I am need of a new one quick. It is going to take me a while to save all that money. Which is the better option, a full payment or a monthly payment??

    • TL says:

For me, a monthly payment would annoy me and I might probably forget to pay the monthly fee (I have a weak memory). I tried to pay everything at once or just wait till I saved enough money; but if you really can’t wait for a new computer, its understandable so just purchase the macbook pro and paid the monthly fee.

As long as you’re able to pay the monthly fee at a timely matter, then all should end well. :-)

to respond to some answers, i assume it will be a ‘ripoff”. i am curious to how much of a ripoff it will be. that is ‘is it a cheap computer with a celeron chip processor or a computer will a state of the art chip.
i know about blue hippo, how ever i think it is a new business similar to blue hippo ways of business

If they want you to pay $29 a week for 12 months, that’s over $1500. I guarantee the computer you get won’t be worth anything NEAR that much.

Why not just go to the bank, open a savings account, deposit $29 a week for about, oh, say, 7 or 8 months, and then withdraw the money and go to the store and buy yourself a decent computer with the cash? You’ll get a better product for less money, and you won’t be paying exorbitant interest rates to ripoff artists!

is there anyway for me to get a credit loan to buy a computer and make payments on it?
I’m going to start school in the summer and i need a lap top for school… i just tried apple and it denied me, blue hippo is too expensive. is there any other option?

    • MD/teacher says:

Try Dell…they are a little more lenient. You can also talk to the school and see if you can use your finacial aid at the school store which sometimes carry laptops. Good Luck

Please do not go to any of the websites that offer money free or low interest. Only go through places your school recommends!
